About

My name is Isaac Aguila and I have been a tattoo artist for the past ten years of my life. Prior to that I worked random jobs but never felt that zing of happiness in my working life until I was given an opportunity to draw and express myself in an artistic way.

I’ve always been interested in art. I’ve studied the works of Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Giorgione, and Botticelli. I feel I’m mostly drawn to the Early Renaissance paintings and sculptures. I have traveled the world a lot and I can say that I feel very fortunate to have come across pieces from the father of baroque painting, Caravaggio.  I listen to classical music while I paint and draw in my art room. I guess classic art nerd would be the better title for myself. I’m also fascinated with WW2. As one the most fascinating times of history I try to watch/read everything I come across from it.

Back in high school I got pretty lucky cause that is where I met my wife. We have been married for almost ten years but together for 15 and within this time we added our two daughters, Angelina and Lilith.

Fun fact for those fact seekers the name Lilith is actually the name of Adams first wife before Eve. Don’t believe me? Look it up.

I’m into fishing and lobster catching, I enjoy hanging down at the surf and watching the crabs and shells burrow into the sand. I draw on my free time and paint whenever I get the chance.

Halloween is big in my household and its pretty much all year in my family. My wife and I are big movie people, say any quote and I guarantee one of us will get it. I spend a lot of time helping my wife with the kids because my wife is actually going to nursing school. Pretty proud of her for that one.

I grew up in San Diego but with being able to work conventions I’ve been able to travel across the world to places such as Amsterdam, France, and Italy. Art encompasses every thing I do down to the crafts my daughter glues onto the back of my hands sometimes. 80’s and 90’s were the best time to grow up in mainly because they produced TMNT and Bob Ross.

I am also into documentaries probably a-little more than I should be mainly because they cover a wide range of topics that leave lasting impressions on your psyche’s and cause the gears in your head to constantly turn and work.

I enjoy doing tattoos and creating something that wasn’t there before. When a client comes to me and brings something totally new to the table I get to read and research what it is and in the process of designing the piece I get to learn something new which is what life is all about.

I look forward to working with you and creating an everlasting tattoo that will make both of us happy. Myself for being able to provide you with a piece of me and you with being able to gain something meaningful for yourself.

I’ll leave you off with a quote that I have up in my home:

“Learn to enjoy every minute of your life. Be happy now. Don’t wait for something outside of yourself to make you happy in the future. Think how really precious is the time you have to spend, whether it’s at work or with your family. Every minute should be enjoyed and savored”
